Brian Segel

Brian Segel oversees neighborhood stabilization initiatives at NYS HFA, including the State’s current NSP program.  Through his prior positions in the corporate, community development, and government sectors, including HSBC and MetLife, the Low Income Investment Fund and National Equity Fund, The New 42nd Street, Inc. and the NY State Urban Development Corporation, he has been fortunate to partner with signature community-based organizations, financing affordable housing and community revitalization projects throughout New York City and State.  Mr. Segel has volunteered with several housing and service organizations, and is currently a board member of New Partners for Community Revitalization and the Supportive Housing Network of New York.  He completed his undergraduate work at Oberlin College and earned masters degrees at the London School of Economics and Harvard University.
